The Water Taxi to San Pedro (from Corozal)

We now have regular Water Taxi service from Corozal to San Pedro (Ambergris Caye)  and points south (i.e. Caye Caulker & Belize City.)   We also have excellent flying taxis, mentioned below.  

Thunderbolt

Named like its sister boats which make the run from Belize City, this boat is pretty large, and has plenty of  baggage room, and a large covered area for passengers.  Schedule:

Departure:  7 AM & 3PM        Return:  Leave San Pedro at 3PM to return to Corozal.  (or return the next morning)

Every Day 

Fare: $45 Dollah one way.  $75 Dollah Round Trip. 

The trip takes about 2 hours, altho they promise an hour and a half.  It does depend upon the condition of the water.  

PS: If you receive the Belize Weather Report, you will note that it invariably says:

Seas:  Choppy

New:  Thunderbolt had a website for a while, but it went away.  The boats still run, twice a day.
