Shipping and Storing Stuff

Bronnie and Brad and I had a running joke.  I would inquire about the price of something we had (or were going to buy in Belize) and, finding out what it was, I would suggest that I could get it on the Internet for about one-fourth the price.

"Yes" they would say, "but it's HERE!!"

Getting things to Belize is a challenge.  The final price (which will include duty, shipping and handling) will probably be just about four times what it would cost in the US.  So, shipping is important. 

Shipping Resources:

Sterling Frieght Services.. Been in business for several years.  Excellent reputation!

BTalco   They call themselves "One Bin."  Pretty slick looking.  (Let me know how they do!)

Storing Stuff:

If you leave stuff in an unoccupied house, it will disappear!   (So will all the fixtures, and perhaps the windows.)  

You can pay someone to stay in your house, or you can store valuables in a storage facility.  David Edgar has one:

This facility is in the Vista Del Mar subdivision in Ladyville. (Mile 8 1/2 on the Northern Highway.)  David says he can help you with moving and customs if you call him!
