The Levites:  Making a joyous noise unto the Lord

The Levites are a creation of my old business partner and (PTL) best friend.   Hugo Vasquez wants to play Jazz but he wants to do it on the Lord's terms, so we are doing that once or twice a week.

Left to right, Hugo Vasquez, Ed Melendez, Senor Reek, "Chach" Ferguson.

Left:  Hugo is a multi-talented businessman; Ed is the pastor of The Church of God of Prophecy here in Alta Mira (a Corozal suburb)

Right:  Rick is playing his new Squier "Mini".  Chach, who played for almost 20 years in Mexico, plays guitar, keyboard & sings, as well as drums.

The group takes traditional praise music and recasts it in jazz terms.  For instance, we play "How Great Thou Art" as a Reggae and "This Little Light of Mine" like a Rock classic.
