Letters:

Over the past three years we've gotten a lot of letters from Gringos who appreciate the nature of this site and the insight it gives you into the real Belize. I can share some of these with you.  We also occasionally get a letter that is less appreciative, and I'll share those here, along with my responses.

Joseph:  The Famous Flamer.  Joseph is fairly well-known on the various Belize forums, and I was gratified that he had found my site and chose to remark about it.  Read his letter and my response here.

David's First Night.  David is a "Motor Cop" (his i-net handle) and he shares my concern for traffic safety education here in Belize.  His first night here was spent at a party in Consejo Shores, and he writes about it here

Burglar Bars:  Dave and Debbie, soon to be immigrants, are worried about burglary.  An FAQ

Driving to Belize:  Charles asks about driving from Texas to Belize. Another FAQ.

Gotta question or a complaint?  Write us!

An interesting List:

If you're into controversy, you might like to subscribe to the bz-culture list for a while.  Like most lists, it has its ups and downs, highs and lows, but it is an interesting way to get a view of the way Belizeans "in country," Belizean-Americans (living in the states) and American-Belizeans (living in Belize) see the current situations as they occur.   To subscribe, send to bz-culture-request@psg.com the message: subscribe.  If you click here, I'll address it for you!  (You still have to type "subscribe".)
