The June Bug Party

No music here -- just a lot of foolish fun!  First, Roger and Deema Thompson sent out a flashy invitation. 

They fixed up the back yard pretty nice, with tarps in case it rained.  The bug table (right) contained a bunch of little displays of bugs. The special ones are shown below.


Exhibits.  Left, Margaret Briggs' "Wild Bill Locust" even had a hand of "Aces & Eights" which she drew in with a magnifying glass!

Below.  While Roger Thompson officiates, Margaret Briggs is preparing to 

launch a watermellon seed.  Her partner, Jeff, set a new record at 35 feet!
