Hurricanes in 2001

Here is the storm track chart for 2001.  You can get up to date information on hurricanes from weather.com's Storm Watch here.   My favorite nominee for "Hurricane Central" -- North Carolina -- got off scott free, and we got an unusually early storm (Chantal) which came right through Corozal.  Iris devastated the southern part of the country; wiped out the banana crop and destroyed the real estate pitch that Belize North is "hurricane alley" and Belize South is hurricane-free.
