The Corozal Blues Project

From right to left; Evan Gilharry -- Alto sax play with the Gilharry Seven;  Raymond Jones -- Trumpeter with the Gilharry Seven, Senor Reek, and "Chach" Ferguson, veteran of over 15 years of road musician experience in Mexico.   These players are all naturally talented, and took to blues like a duck takes to water!

The venue is the Corozal Bay Inn.  It's Sunday afternoon, the pool is full, and we're sipping rum and playing all kinds of blues -- from Elvis, to James Brown, to Night Train!

Our goal was to build a group that could play at the Jazz Concerts in Belize City.  We planned to take some traditional Belizean tunes and turn them into Blues & Jazz!

The project was cut short by my burglary and quick departure from Belize.  Too bad, huh?
