Caye West  (Pronounced "Key West")

Island music with a C&W flavor!  That's what the name implies.  The group featured Heidi Levy, a beautiful young Belizean vocalist and keyboard player, and ... me .. playing guitar in support and singing a little.

We played a mix of Country & Western, Belizean, and Latin favorites to appeal to Belizeans & Gringos alike.

We played several Friday nights at the Corozal Bay in in the Summer of 2005 and seemed to attract as much wind and rain as we did fans.  The Belizeans loved us -- the Gringos boycotted the place.

Here's what they missed:

Heidi is now a senior at CCC -- her parents want her to finish high school before she gets serious about professional music.  I think that's a good idea -- just another reason why I left!
