CAR RENTAL and other transportation  ( Jan 2007)

Currently, there is one car rental place in Corozal.

Corozal Car Rental & Sales
Mile #85 Corozal
Angel Riverol Owner
(501) 422-3339
Cell (501)604-0608
www.corozalcars.com

It is up around the corner on the way to Mexico. (On the right. )  Ask the Taxi driver to take you to "Riverol Car Rentals"  (It is quite a ways to walk from the bus station!)

The Embassy Hotel, across the parking lot from the Airport, is a good place to rent a car if you're flying in. $69 a day if you rent by the week.

Buy-Belize Car Rentals.  Steve Perera wrote me a nice letter telling me about his website.  He has a fleet of Toyota 4-runners, and he will pick you up at the airport.  Check it out!

Bicycle Rentals

Copa Banana used to rent cars and scooters, but it was just not profitable.  They loan bicycles to their motel guests and rent bicycles to others for $10US h a day

Las Palmas also rents bicycles.
