Another Letter from the Borgman's in Panama

Hi Rick

Hope this note finds you well. Sorry that things dont seem to be going so well in Belize. I know that things change but so far the Panamanian govt is very happy to have us jubilados. I just heard tonight that 40 new families will be here in Volcan by February. We see lots of signs of growth and new people and of course this is putting a lot of upward pressure on prices, especially land in the desirable, cooler areas. Of course you know the people just passed a referendum by 79% to expand the canal. Panama is expecting tremendous growth and opportunity as a result.

Our son, Steve, has just moved here permanently. His container arrived Sat and he is in Colon now to finish the paperwork on the car - his, and truck - ours. He has to find his niche for making money, but as a Mechanical Engineer and other talents we think he can sort it out eventually. He hated his job in the states and decided it was a good time to leave since he wasn't happy about a lot of other things either.

We are crazy about Panama, and the longer we are here, the happier we are if possible. It was a great decision for us.
The email address in the letter we wrote that is on your site-fincadesuenos.com-is dead. One of our happy clients had put it up for us and after a year it died. He was having major health problems and I was unable to contact him to see what I needed to do to continue it. Now that Steve is here, that has been put on hold anyway as the guest area has become storage as you can imagine. You can change the email address in the letter to laureld42@yahoo.com if you wish. A few people have contacted me as a result of that letter and it has been interesting. I always enjoy the contacts.

Come on down for a vacation.

Blessings to you

Sharon
