Moore Pictures

More pictures of the Moore house, with a few comments.

The house, obviously, is built on "stilts" -- actually very special poles which were selected to last for a hundred years.

Below, the crew is putting on the first section of metal roofing.  "Zinc" is typical, this is painted metal, very pretty, very durable. The open roof is very cool, but it may be a little noisy in a rain storm!  (Nothing like the pitter patter to put you to sleep, eh?)

Below, some more roofing is on.  The extension on the roof gives the Moores a view of Corozal bay, over the tops of the trees!  It also allows Brad to easily climb onto the roof to service the solar panels (which will be added later.)

Below, another look at the house from a different angle.

Below, the crew, taking a break.
